The widow’s pension is a civic project that received the greatest support in the Sejm from the Left. The idea assumes two variants of the benefit. The first is a pension increased by 50 percent, the family pension after the deceased spouse, and the second speaks of 50 percent of the pension or pension of the surviving spouse and a full benefit after the deceased.
– There will be a widow’s pension. The government supports the citizens’ bill that allows taking over part of the benefit after the deceased spouse. The bill will pass the second reading in the Sejm this week, and ultimately it is to cost the state budget about PLN 20 billion – announced the report host of “19.30”, Marek Czyż.

Janina Partyczna emphasized that she really likes the project and the government’s decision to implement it. – I am delighted with such a project, because imagine that there are two spouses, they have pensions. Two plus two is four, and when such a woman or a man is left alone, widowed – poverty and misery then! Two thousand? – she commented on the air.
There was nothing strange in Partyczna’s opinion, she expressed her private opinion, and the signature did not lie – the woman is a senior citizen from Warsaw. However, attentive TVP viewers immediately recognized the heroine of the report, who was one of the participants of the sixth edition of the program “Sanatorium miłości” broadcast on Telewizja Polska. The material did not mention that the senior citizen is associated with the popular show of the station.
