Speaking to reporters from the Cibeles Palace, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, said that the City Council is “perfectly aware” of the inconvenience that the neighbors are suffering from the area and has praised the fact that a “compromise” has been reached with Real Madrid.

“In order to reassess this commitment, it is essential that the Santiago Bernabéu complies with the acoustic regulations that we have in the city of Madrid and, therefore, until that happens, of course, until these adaptation works are carried out at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the concerts will end at 11 pm,” he said.
