Bogdan Rymanowski’s program without arguments is a wasted program. According to this principle, during last weekend’s “Rymanowski’s Breakfast on Polsat News and Interia” another brawl occurred. This time Krzysztof Bosak attacked Magdalena Biejat, telling her to “be silent and listen”.
Polsat News. A brawl in Rymanowski’s program
Bogdan Rymanowski invited a galaxy of politicians representing all sides of the dispute in the Sejm and Senate to the “Rymanowski Breakfast on Polsat News and Interia”. Among the topics was the issue of the vote lost by the Coalition on 15 October on the act decriminalising assistance in abortion. The bill assumed that for assistance in abortion – e.g. buying abortion pills – an ex officio investigation would not be launched, and the person helping would not face punishment for assistance. However, the bill was defeated by several votes in the Sejm. Magdalena Biejat, a representative of the Left-Razem party, took the floor in the studio, explaining who is most affected by the abortion ban.
Those who do not have the money to go to the Netherlands and terminate the pregnancy, or to import pills for a few hundred euros, and those who, like Iza, Agata (…) will find themselves in a desperate situation and will depend on a doctor who will be afraid to terminate the pregnancy – she said.
Krzysztof Bosak, who was allowed to speak, accused Magdalena Biejat of talking nonsense. He claimed that abortion is still legal in Poland if there is a threat to the woman’s life or health, and that women who died in maternity wards are dead because of “poor medical care in maternity wards.”
Have you ever wondered where this bad care comes from? – Biejat asked, to which the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm replied:
Please be quiet and listen, because you have lied for too long.
Protesting Magdalena Biejat was silenced by Bogdan Rymanowski, who ignored the way Krzysztof Bosak spoke. “The way you speak to me is simply scandalous,” she said.
