After a break of several years, the “Summer with Radio and Polish Television” summer tour has had its long-awaited revival. However, the opening concert in Zakopane on July 13, 2024 was not met with delight. Viewers complained about the repertoire full of “reheated cutlets” and the choice of the evening’s stars. The hosts of the event were also criticized, in these roles played by Joanna Górska and Kamil Wicik, who, according to many, led it reluctantly. Hopes that such a large wave of criticism would persuade the organizers to make changes in its subsequent editions turned out to be vain, however.

The second round of the Summer with Radio tour, which took place on July 20, 2024 in Racibórz, is behind us. Their greatest hits were performed on stage by, among others, Lady Pank, Jacek Stachursky, Majka Jeżowska, Michał Szczygieł, Natalia Nykiel and Ania Dąbrowska. This time, both the audience and viewers sitting in front of the TV had a lot of complaints and comments. In numerous comments published on social media, they wrote about the repertoire that had been repeated for years, thus describing the entire event as “boring and uninspired”.
Although there were many reservations about the stars, it cannot be denied that the greatest emotions were caused by the performance of the band T.Love, led by them. According to the vast majority of listeners, the artist did not put any effort into his performance. When singing, he did not hit the notes and mixed up the words of the song, even though it is an absolute hit. A scandal broke out on the internet almost immediately.

This year’s edition of the “Summer with Radio and Polish Television” tour includes concerts in as many as 8 different cities in different parts of the country. Apart from Zakopane and Racibórz, where the concerts are already behind us, the event will also take place in Elbląg, Poddębica, Chorzów, Białystok, Tarnów and Grudziądz, where it will officially end on August 31, after 7 weeks. During this time, over 60 of the greatest artists in the Polish music industry will perform on all stages. Among them were iconic performers and bands, including Kombii, Urszula, , Ania Wyszkoni, Piersi, Papa D, as well as younger generation stars such as Afromental, LemON, Józefina i Skubas, Filip Lato and Kuba Szmajkowski.
