Hands can be a source of many complexes. Although certain “imperfections” are completely natural, not everyone is happy to take them out of their pockets. It turns out that nail polish can help a lot here. Properly selected, it will make it easy and relatively inexpensive to achieve the desired effect.

A big problem for many people is short, cylindrical fingers. So they hide them as much as they can – sometimes in their pockets, sometimes hanging behind their backs. Not everyone knows that a little work on nails can make them optically longer and slimmer. A lot can change their appearance just by the color. It is good to go for subdued colors. Delicate pinks and beiges will not draw much attention to themselves, and at the same time, a shine will appear on the nails, which will perfectly slim them.

If we like decorations, it is best to give up horizontal ones in favor of vertical ones, which lengthen the nail plate. The exception here is the classic French manicure, which not only slims the fingers, but also provides a discreet, elegant decoration.

Short fingers will also be slimmed down by the right shape of nails. If we decide on a square one, we can be sure that the hands will look less slim. However, if we really like this shape, we can soften this impression a bit by slightly filing the edges. If we want to slim down the nails, rounded or popular almonds will work best, which will optically lengthen the nail plate.
