Sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev criticized the head of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe for her position on Russian channels refusing to broadcast the 2024 Olympic Games. He expressed his opinion on the Telegram channel.

Earlier, the head of the FLGR supported the decision of Russian TV channels to refuse to broadcast the Summer Games in Paris. “It seems to me that this will be some kind of misery, not the Olympics. I will not follow the performances of Russian athletes,” she said.
It was previously reported that Russian TV channels would not show the Olympic Games for the first time in 40 years. It was noted that the decision was due to the fact that domestic athletes would only be able to compete in the competitions as neutrals.
