These are the advantages mentioned by fans of the Kontigo chain. Unfortunately, in some time it will no longer be possible to shop in its stores, because the brand’s management has decided to close them.
Kontigo is closing stores in Poland. The brand had been on the market for 10 years
The Kontigo chain was established in 2014. Most of its brick-and-mortar stores were located in shopping malls, and perhaps it was the location that caused the brand to suffer huge losses. During the pandemic, retail facilities were closed or operated at non-standard times and on specific terms independent of the owners. As a result, fewer and fewer people visited Kontigo points. After the pandemic, the chain was unable to recover enough to continue to develop. So the decision was made to close the brick-and-mortar stores.
The information that Kontigo is closing its stores appeared, among others, on the Instagram of Girls from the Drugstore. In one of the posts, the beauty bloggers explained that this is not the final end of the entire chain: “Kontigo is not disappearing completely. The online drugstore will continue to operate and it is this model that the brand is now going to focus on,” we learn from the post.
We won’t be shopping at Kontigo stores. Worried fans recall “cards”
Below, a mass of comments from surprised fans appeared. Many of them started to mention what they liked most about Kontigo. There was also a mention of the famous “cards” that customers received. “What a shame. It really is a very interesting drugstore. The cosmetics are of very good quality and affordable for everyone,” wrote one of the followers, and another added: “I liked Kontigo because there were a few brands that were not available anywhere else in brick-and-mortar stores.”
