First she demanded extra seats on the plane for plus-size people. Now she wants changes at swimming pools

Jaelynn Chaney is a traveler who campaigns for, among other things, plus-size transportation options. Recently, the woman drew attention to another problem that often appears in hotel pools. “This is not inclusive. Demand accessibility for all!” she appealed.

Jaelynn Chaney is a popular TikToker whose account is already followed by over 137 thousand people. In her work, the woman focuses mainly on two issues: travel and promoting body positivity. She often combines these two issues and boldly speaks out on topics related to travel amenities for obese people. It is worth mentioning that Jaelynn herself describes herself as a fat person and does not consider it offensive. She tries to normalize the use of this term and often compares it to describing other physical features, such as height or hair color.

Plus-size influencer raises awareness of the problem

In one of her latest videos, Jaelynn highlighted the issue that obese people have to deal with while traveling. It concerns the lack of handrails at swimming pools. “This is not inclusive. Demand accessibility for all!” she wrote under her TikTok video.

The woman noticed that many facilities do not have handrails and stairs that would make it easier to enter and exit the pool. – Without handrails, we prevent many people from safely using the pool. It’s time for everyone to be able to swim without worries – she appealed in the recording.

She appealed for additional seats on planes

This is not the first time Jaelynn Chaney has been in the news. Some time ago, the woman appealed for additional seats on planes for plus-size people. “As plus-size travelers, my partner and I have unfortunately experienced discrimination and discomfort during our flights,” she wrote in the justification of the document, which was discussed by various portals at the time.
