Aphids can be combated in many ways. Most people decide to shop at a garden store. There we can buy a lot of products that will help us deal with pests. However, there are some problems with this method. First of all, you have to spend your money, because these products sometimes cost even several dozen zlotys. Secondly, there is no denying that it is a chemical that, although effective, can also affect other plants, pets and small children. So before we pull out the big guns, it’s worth trying home methods.
Which plants destroy aphids?
Aphids most often attack begonias, orchids and ficuses at home, and in the garden they also attack vegetables, such as tomatoes, peppers, broad beans, beans, carrots and cabbage. They feed on them, destroying their shoots, which prevents their proper growth, and sometimes they also transmit viral diseases to them.

What about aphids? No expensive drugs! You have everything at home
Home remedies for aphids involve spraying. One method involves using home-grown vegetables, e.g. garlic or onion. How to spray garlic against aphids? There is no need to peel it or even chop it. Just throw the head into a small pot and pour water over it. Cook for several dozen minutes until the liquid becomes slightly brown. Then we cool it, pour it into a sprayer and spray the plants attacked by aphids. It is worth repeating the treatment after a week.
What about aphids? Spraying with onion will also work great. Chop 10 g of vegetables and pour a liter of water. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes, cool, strain and pour into a sprayer. Spray on aphids and wait until they disappear.
