After months of intense work, Orlandxalter ego of the performer and composer Diego Infante, releases his first album: ‘Deseo, culpa y curse’.

Of Dominican origin and living in Santander (Cantabria), he is the exponent of what we call “genre fluid” that moves through different musical genres, and mixes them together, taking him from pop to urban or electronicwithout limiting itself artistically and exploring all its capabilities based on duality and fluidity.

This creative freedom is Orlandx’s hallmark and is reflected in this 13 song albumwhich includes seven singles already released and six new songs, composed together with Fura, who has produced and directed the entire artistic part of the project.

‘Culpa’ is the main song of the album. A song that rhythmically has the reggaeton pattern of the 2000s, with guitar arrangements that transport to various Latin genres. The lyrics deal with the ego and its obsession with not giving way to honesty in vulnerable situations.

Orlandx takes care of aesthetics as well as its exclusively musical proposal. The taste for fashion and the audiovisual treatment are highly valued details in this video clip that accompanies ‘Culpa’, and also in previous ones such as ‘Well fucked’, ‘Deseo’, ‘So good’, ‘Kara Kara’ and ‘La disco’.

Diego Infante he voices, performs and composes Orlandx songs. He is an artist passionate about music, since in it he finds the courage, due to his shyness, to express his feelings and believes in the transformative force of sharing his emotions in that fight for his dream. A journey that he undertook a long time ago alone, but in which he met Fura along the way, from whom he received the knowledge, skills and advice necessary to project his musical career.

Her fearless approach and open attitude toward fluidity not only defines her music, but also reflects a commitment to creating a space where diversity is appreciated and celebrated. The lyrics of her songs do not focus the narrative towards a specific genre. He appeals to different generations, creating a pan-generational musical product. It connects with Generation Z because it is theirs, it has a discourse and aesthetics that embrace artistic and personal freedom. It connects with the Latino community in Spain, because it shares the same story with them, and it connects with the community of color and other minorities because it applauds authenticity.

Both are followers of fashion, and lovers of careful aesthetics. Fura, the produceris a multidisciplinary artist with creative skills, but also techniques that have led him to work with many artists, in addition to Orlandx.

Fura connects with other producers, musicians and composers because it shares experiences with them and connects with technical-creative teams to ensure that creative line: audiovisual producers, possible musical collaborations, designers, stylists…

“The concept of ORLANDX was born from the need to not limit ourselves as people and artists and to be able to enjoy and explore all our capabilities”

Why Orlandx?

Comes from Orlando and pays tribute to the main character of Virginia Woolf’s novel, which tells the adventures of a young English aristocrat who lives several centuries and becomes a woman. It is a peculiar change of era and sex that holds a metaphor for artistic creation. Orlando is a character of changing nature who defies genre conventions and from whom emanates the essence of fluidity and duality. A creative freedom that is Orlandx’s hallmark.
