The 10,000 step rule was invented at the Tokyo Olympics
John isn’t the only person who recommends 10,000 steps a day. Believe it or not, this concept originated from a hugely successful marketing campaign launched before the Tokyo Olympics. John’s post was very positively received and people agreed with him
Unsurprisingly, John’s post quickly garnered a lot of comments on the platform, with many users claiming to have had success with this technique as well. One person wrote: “I lost 12 kg in three months with a calorie deficit and just walking, I agree!”
