He insulted the LGBT+ community at Adele’s concert. The artist couldn’t stand it. “Are you f**ked up?”

During Adele’s last concert in Las Vegas, an unexpected situation occurred in which the singer herself got involved from the stage. In response to an inappropriate comment from one of the audience members, who referred to the just-started Pride Month, the artist interrupted her performance and addressed him directly from the stage, not mincing her words.

Since November 2022, Adele has been a resident at the luxurious Caesar’s Palace hotel in Las Vegas. The artist’s concerts from the “Weekends with Adele” series are organized every week and are very popular. The British singer is known for maintaining a special contact with the audience during the performance.

Adele heard one of the viewers. The singer reacted immediately and did not bite her tongue

During the singer’s last concert, which took place on June 1, there was an incident to which the artist decided to react with harsh words. At one point, one of the audience members started shouting at the stage: “Pride sucks!”, which was certainly a reference to the Pride Month that began that day, which was established to celebrate the visibility of the LGBT+ community.

What was that? You said ‘Pride sucks’? Did you come to my fucking concert and just say to yourself, “Pride sucks”? Are you crazy? Don’t be so fucking ridiculous. If you don’t have anything nice to say, shut up, okay? – Adele replied from the stage.

A recording of the concert was shared on Sky News’ social media, where the artist’s fans and representatives of sexual minorities supported her speech. You can also read many comments on the X platform expressing appreciation for the artist. “The fact that Adele decided to go after you of all people means you really said something wrong,” it read.

One of the greatest contemporary singers is an uncompromising ally of LGBT+ people

Adele has been supporting the LGBT+ community for years, whom she has in the past called her “soul mates since I was really young.” During last year’s concert, which also took place in June, the artist appeared on the stage of the same hotel in a black dress with a train made of a rainbow flag, a symbol of this community. In turn, in 2016, after an attack on members of the LGBT+ community, Adele dedicated “her entire performance to everyone in Orlando and at the Pulse nightclub last night.”
