The Kolors is a pop-rock band formed in Milan in 2009, consisting of Stash Fiordispino, Alex Fiordispino and Dario Iaculli. Initially, the musicians gained popularity by performing on underground club stages. It was only in 2014 that they made their debut on the recording market with the album “I want”, after which they took part in “Amici”, and the victory opened the door to a great career for them.

In February 2024, they expressed their desire to represent Italy during the . For this occasion, they even created “Un Ragazzo Una Ragazza”, which was kept in a similar style to “Italodisco” both in terms of melody and lyrical layer, as well as the music video. Interestingly, a Polish singer took part in it, acting as a fitness instructor.
Although the song is easily catchy and almost everyone hums it, still few people know its true meaning. It turns out that the single’s title literally means “Boy Girl” and is, in a sense, a love story. This is the story of the first meeting, which often begins with contact in the virtual world. The musicians sing that you need to let go of your fears and let yourself be carried away by your emotions, which is encouraged by the music video that stimulates your imagination.
