The Maitaldia dance festival will offer 80 performances in 17 locations

The Biarritz Dance Festival MaitaldiaLe Temps d’aimer la danse, was presented today in the coastal town, where it will mainly take place although it will also reach 16 other towns, from Errenteria to Bokale and, to the east, to Atharratze.
A total of 41 companies will participate in the main event of contemporary dance in the Basque Country, among others, the ballets of Bern, Marseille and Monte Carlo, the national choreographic centers of Rennes, Caen and Nantes, the South Korean creator Sun-a Lee, Robinson Cassarino and Bruno Pradet. Without forgetting, of course, the Basque creators: Kukai, Bilaka, Dantzaz, Martin Harriague…
Kukai will present, in a summer atmosphere, BasqueBilaka will do the same with the creation Ilauna and Martin Harriague will present the novelty Crocodile with Emilie Leriche.
