On June 8 and 9, the Intxaurrondo neighborhood, in San Sebastián, will host the third edition of the BAI Public Art Meetings, which attempt to bring public art closer to the neighborhood’s residents and visitors. the one they live with every day.
The organization has invited three contemporary creators to reinterpret the neighborhood’s artistic heritage. Specifically, the objects of the interpretation will be the sculptures Hazteko Moduak (Koldobika Jauregi), Ume-jolasak and Silhouette (Agustin Ibarrola) and Monolith (Team 57).
The guest artist for this edition will be Ana Esmith, in the role of Miss Beige. Regarding the program of activities, Saturday will be dedicated to artistic practice through three workshops aimed at families. They will take place at the Intxaurrondo culture house, and will be taught by Elena Scaratti, Natalia Cambronero and Uxue Lasa.
The BAI Meetings program will close on Sunday with an artistic tour of the neighborhood, in which the reinterpretations prepared in the workshops the day before will be shown to the public, in addition to a party in Plaza Gabriel Celaya between 12:00 and 6:00 p.m.
