P. Diddy commented on the recording of his participation made available by CNN. It shows the rapper behaving aggressively towards his former partner Cassie Ventura. “I take full responsibility for my actions in this film,” the musician explains.

At the end of last year, rapper and music producer P. Diddy was accused by his ex-girlfriend of rape and assault. Cassie Ventura, an R&B singer and model, filed a lawsuit in connection with an incident that allegedly took place in 2016 in one of the hotels in Los Angeles. Ventura’s accusations showed that this was not an isolated situation, and the musician had previously behaved aggressively towards her. Combs allegedly encouraged her to take drugs, have sex with other men, and in 2018, he raped her, after which the woman finally ended their relationship.

Shortly after the media received information about the accusations against Combs, the former partners’ lawyers announced that a settlement had been reached between the rapper and the singer. Diddy’s representative, however, emphasized that this turn of the case does not mean his client has admitted guilt.

P. Diddy vehemently denied all accusations until CNN published the video of the attack on his ex-girlfriend. It shows Sean Combs grabbing his partner’s neck with all his strength, knocking her to the ground and then kicking her. After the material went online, P. Diddy posted a video on Instagram in which he referred to the situation.

“I have hit rock bottom but I make no excuses, my behavior in this video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in this video, I am disgusted… I was disgusted when I did it, I am disgusted now too. I went and sought professional help, I went to therapy, I went to rehab,” the musician explained. He also admitted that in prayer he asks God for forgiveness: “Every day I try to be a better person,” he added.

The rapper’s words were commented on by Cassie Ventura’s lawyer: “When Cassie and many other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for payment. The fact that he was forced to ‘apologize’ only after his repeated denials turned out to be false shows his pathetic desperation and his insincere words will not attract anyone’s attention,” said Meredith Firetog.
