Over the past few months, the future of “Wheel of Fortune” has been in doubt. So far, the flagship TVN2 game show was hosted by Norbi accompanied by Izabela Krzan. Despite changes in the public media, the musician still hoped that TVP decision-makers would approach him with a proposal to record another season. However, this did not happen. Norbie’s place is officially to be taken by Błażej Stencel, a theater and TV series actor, while Izabela Krzan will be replaced by Agnieszka Dziekan, who was previously a weatherwoman in “Pytanie na breakfast”.
TVP will replace Norbi in “Wheel of Fortune”
When asked how he assessed the choice of the new hosts of “Wheel of Fortune”, Norbi admitted that he did not have a clear opinion on it yet. “I don’t know the guy, but I wish him good luck and at least the same viewership as ours with Iza. (…) Agnieszka will definitely do well, because she seems to be a nice person. And in this program, you have to be nice,” he told the editorial office .
The 52-year-old musician added that he came to terms with the decision of the producers of the program, being aware of the rules governing the world of show business. However, he will miss the atmosphere of the game show and its participants. “You have to keep the pressure and distance, because it’s show business. Today you are here, tomorrow you are gone, and in a moment you may come back again. (…) What regret can I have? It is the right of every boss to arrange the blocks in his own way. How someone who doesn’t like show business and is unnecessarily tense should not work in it. (…) Of course, I really liked this job. In my opinion, I and I made a great duo even more. I loved these people from the production and the participants. (…) It was a fantastic time,” said Norbi in an interview with Plotek.
Norbi, i.e. Norbert Dudziuk, was the host of “Wheel of Fortune” in 2019-2024. Previously, after the reactivation of the program, Rafał Brzozowski acted as the host. In 2019, Izabela Krzan, who currently appears on Channel Zero, became the co-host of “Wheel of Fortune”.
