Food security – how to ensure good quality food for current and future generations?

What can we do here and now to protect future generations from famine? What is food security and why does it depend on the condition of our planet? What challenges do food producers face and what actions must they take? What should food producing companies change to meet the new challenges? And finally, what can we, consumers, do to ensure that future generations do not lack good quality food?

One of the solutions is to change the diet to a more environmentally friendly one that at the same time supports our health. These include, for example, the planetary diet, which includes, among others: limiting the consumption of meat and animal products, choosing seasonal, local products, and not wasting food. What about food producers? What can and should we expect from them? We talk about this in the next episode of the “Food of the Future” podcast.
