Warner Bros. Discovery has announced the official release date of the Max streaming platform. On May 21, the service will debut in our southern neighbors, i.e. the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It will be available on the Polish market on June 11. According to the announcement, the website will offer not only a wide range of films and series, but also broadcasts of sporting events, content intended for children and streaming of 25 TV stations.
What will the Max platform offer?
Announced by Warner Bros. The Discovery platform will replace the existing HBO Max service next month. Max’s offer will include content from HBO Max, the TVN group and original Max Original productions. Over the next two years, as many as 15 new Polish productions will appear on the platform. These include the documentary films “The King of Zanzibar”, “The Skin Hunters” and “Hope”. From June 17, the second season of “Rod Smoka” will also be available on Max, and two months later, in August, new episodes of “Thaw” will appear on the platform.
In Poland, Max users will be able to choose one of three packages: Basic, Standard and Premium. Owners of the last two packages will have access to HBO, HBO2 and HBO3. Stations TVN24, TVN24 BiS, CNN, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2, TVN 7, TTV, METRO, TVN Style, TVN Turbo, TVN FabuĊa, Warner TV, HGTV, Travel Channel, Food Network, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, ID , TLC, Discovery Channel, Discovery Historia, Discovery Life, Discovery Science and DTX will be charged additionally. Current HBO Max subscribers will be automatically redirected to the new service and their old profiles and “my list” and “continue watching” tabs.
