This week, Netflix will surprise us with a real cinematic gem that has already won the hearts of the Polish audience. “Mr. Kleks’ Academy”, a phenomenon of recent months that has attracted over 100,000 viewers on cinema screens, will soon reach our homes. This type of success, which was the first such event for Polish cinematography since 2020is sure to attract equally large crowds on the streaming platform.

The film, which is a new adaptation of the well-known book by Jan Brzechwa, received mixed reviews, but this did not prevent it from achieving impressive box office results and highest-grossing films in the world earlier this year. The size of the production, rich set design and well-thought-out special effects show that no expense was spared on the screen to bring the colorful world of Mr. Kleks to life.
When is the premiere?
The premiere on Netflix is scheduled for May 8. Additionally, Netflix announced that in May it will also add other long-awaited titles, such as the crime story “Colors of Evil: Red” with Maja Ostaszewska and Jakub Gierszał, about the dark corners of the Tricity.
