Belyaeva also said that cardio training is useless for those who want to gain muscle mass. “Cardio training is great for improving overall fitness. But in certain cases you will need to devote time to strength training,” Belyaeva said.

According to the specialist, regular exercise in this type of physical activity improves blood oxygen saturation, reduces the excitability of the nervous system, improves mood, normalizes metabolism and helps improve sleep quality.
