Cucumber seedlings are extremely susceptible to low temperatures, so before moving them into the ground, it is important to monitor the temperature for several days both during the day and at night. It often happens that despite sunny weather, there are frosts in the evening, which can harm delicate plants. It is recommended that the soil temperature before planting be at least 15°C. How to plant cucumbers? Find out the best way

The most commonly recommended method of planting cucumbers is the one based on use seedlings, which means placing already sprouted seeds in the ground. This method should be started about three weeks before transplanting the plants into the ground.

In pots with a diameter of about 8 cm filled with soil, three quarters of its capacity, we place three cucumber seeds. The pots should be placed in a well-sunlit place, because the optimal temperature for seedlings is about 20-25 degrees Celsius. Regular watering is important. Cucumbers should be transplanted when 2-3 proper leaves develop and they reach a height of 15-30 cm.
