She bought an apartment. After just a few hours, the nightmare began. “I almost puked”

Buying a flat often involves many challenges and sacrifices. Just finding a place that will meet our expectations can be problematic. Another thing is what condition it will be in. A tiktoker who bought an apartment from a flipper found this out.

Dominika Uznańska is an internet creator who shares her everyday life and useful tricks online, including makeup tricks. She recently published a three-part recording in which she talked about her hits with the newly purchased apartment from a flipper. She didn’t expect something like this.

She bought an apartment from a flipper. On the first day, the bathroom flooded

Dominika Uznańska published 3 recordings during which she revealed what challenges she had to face after buying an apartment from a flipper. She moved in after 2 weeks and on the first evening water started leaking from under the bathroom strip. – In less than an hour, almost all the panels in the hall swelled completely, and in the bathroom there were vinyl tiles on the floor and these tiles started to bulge and started to “walk” – she reported. After calling an emergency plumbing service and the building’s owner, it turned out that similar problems had already occurred, and the basement was also flooded. The emergency service found it clogged, which was unblocked. Unfortunately, a few hours later, water started flooding the bathroom again.

Problems were growing and contact was difficult. “It sounds like a pathological developer”

The woman contacted the owner, who came with a renovation team (at his expense) to check what happened. The toilet was dismantled and it turned out that not only it but the entire pipe was clogged. All because those who were renovating the apartment threw all the waste, including cement, into it. “It was so disgusting that I almost puked several times,” she said. Despite attempts at repairs, water started pouring out again, this time also from the toilet. A specialist called from the emergency plumbing service said that the entire riser was clogged. At this stage, contact with the former owner became difficult. In addition, the team he hired admitted that he did not want to pay them while working and he saved a lot on everything. – No one is surprised that flipper saves money, but it seems like a pathological development – admitted the tiktoker in the recording.

It wasn’t just the pipe that was clogged. The former owner washes his hands of it

In the following days, it turned out that the owner had only replaced half of the pipe in the basement, which caused it to become clogged, and he had also bricked up access to it. He didn’t report the problem and did so illegally. it started flooding the bathroom again, however, this time it also poured out of the toilet along with the waste. The specialist called in temporarily “fixed” the problem and then began a thorough renovation. The entire bathroom was chained up and the riser was replaced. When removing the tiles, it turned out that there were two layers of old ones underneath, and the shower pipes could only be replaced because they were cracked. The “adventure” with the toilet lasted over a month and is not over yet, because the owner does not feel responsible and does not want to cover any renovation costs.
