Movies with a dance theme in the main role are colorful stories that we eagerly return to. We decided to ask our readers about them in this category. “Dirty Dancing” tells the story of a young girl who spends her vacation with her parents and sister in a luxurious resort. During her stay, she meets a handsome dance instructor with whom she begins a romantic relationship. The film starring Jennifer Gray and the late Patrick Swayze has become a cult classic. Many people certainly have the iconic ending song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” stuck in their heads.
Despite their on-screen chemistry, the actors didn’t get along off the set. The beginnings of their conflict dated back to work on previous productions in which they appeared together. Gray in his autobiography “Out of the Corner” after many years:
There was supposed to be chemistry between us, and that led to tensions. In normal life, when there is no chemistry between people, they can break up and move on. But we had no choice. Our pushing each other created a kind of synergy, a friction.
