She was 2 years old when her father left for another woman. After her mother’s death, she “was left without a family”

is a Polish theater, television and film actress. Although she has had many roles on the small and big screen, her greatest recognition was brought by the series in which she played the role of Gosia Mostowiak for 13 years. Few people know, however, that when she started working on the set, she was going through difficult times in her private life.

First her father left her, then her mother died. This is what Koroniewska’s childhood and youth looked like

The actress was born on May 27, 1978 in Toruń as the only child of Joanna and Leszek Koroniewski. Although she was an only child, she did not live in luxury, and her childhood was far from idyllic. When she was only 2 years old, her father moved to Germany and completely cut off contact with the family. As it later turned out, he had previously led a double life for some time, as he had a new partner and a 4-year-old son abroad. Joanna was raised by her mother, and although she often barely made ends meet, she tried to do everything she could to replace both of her parents.

Just after Joanna started her studies at the Łódź Film School, doctors diagnosed her mother with breast cancer. She was treated immediately, but the disease was in an advanced stage and progressing rapidly. When it turned out that no treatment was effective, the woman was sent to a hospice, where she died in 2000. – My world collapsed. “What to live for?” I thought. I was a young woman in need of support, advice, the presence of my mother – the actress in an interview with “Twój Styl”, adding that she did not know how to deal with mourning.

Although more than two decades have passed since the painful events, Koroniewska still feels as if it all happened yesterday. – At the age of 22, I was alone. Without family, she admitted regretfully. She also did not hide the fact that it was an extremely difficult time for her, because she had no support from anyone, and the atmosphere at the university made her feel even worse.

Exactly 20 years and 11 days have passed since her death. And one of the greatest tragedies of my life. It’s such a long time ago. So much has changed and yet the pain still remains. And he will probably accompany me always

After some time, fate smiled on her, because after joining the cast of “M jak miłość”, she met Maciej Dowbor. In 2009, their daughter Janina was born, 5 years later they got married, and after another 4 years they had another child, Helena. She has repeatedly emphasized that a complete, loving family is her greatest success in life and her dream come true.

She never wanted to answer questions about her father, but he decided to comment on their relationship in “Dobry Tygodnia”. He argued that he left the country not because of his lover, but because of the political situation, and he allegedly tried to reestablish contact with his daughter. – I had a bit of a grudge against Asia. When her mother was in hospice, my mother-in-law from nearby Raszyn helped her. Asia spent weekends with her and promised that she would also support her. She didn’t do it, he said. The actress didn’t have to wait long for her reaction. In an extensive post on Instagram, she referred to her parent’s words, making the matter clear.

This plane has already left. Many years ago. I wish you all the best, reminding you once again that it is best to contact your loved ones in person, not through publications in newspapers, because this clearly proves a person’s true intentions.
