The star of “Breaking Bad” with a shocking confession. He was planning his own death

The actor was one of the guests of the radio program “Jim & Sam”, where he decided to make very personal confessions. It turns out that before Esposito achieved success in Hollywood, he was bankrupt twice. Financial problems brought the actor to the brink of collapse. Back in 2008, he converted the value of his life into insurance money that would provide for his family.

– A question arose in my mind whether insurance companies pay money to families after committing suicide. I asked my wife about it, but she replied that it was not that simple. I started looking for another solution, Esposito said. – It turned out that my children would get money if someone accidentally killed me. I had four children, I wanted them to live. It was a very difficult moment, he added.

“I was in a very dark place.”

The actor’s words are shocking. – I literally thought about arranging my own death so that my loved ones could survive. I was in such a dark place, Esposito emphasizes. Fortunately, the actor realized that no amount of money could compensate for the pain he would inflict on his wife and children. – It is not worth the trauma that would last in our family for generations – he said.

Fortunately, several small roles soon appeared that ensured Esposito’s survival as such. He saw the light at the end of the tunnel only when he got a role in “Breaking Bad”. The actor admits that the role of Gus helped him out of his funk.
