Avoid these plants in the store. They dry up in two days. Even gardeners can’t deal with them

Each of us wants our house plants to grow beautifully and healthily. We water, prune and fertilize them regularly, but our efforts do not bring any effect. Sometimes the fault is not with you, but with the flower. These species are considered the most difficult to grow.

Most of us have at least a few plants at home. They beautifully decorate the interior, improve air quality and have a positive impact on our well-being. To keep them looking nice all the time, you need to take proper care of them. Regular watering, appropriate position and good soil are essential. However, it may happen that despite our efforts, they will not want to cooperate.

The most difficult houseplants. It’s better not to buy them

If you don’t have a hand with flowers and lack patience, you should give up buying some plants. They have to be treated like a child, and any deviation from the norm may end in a disaster. Once you forget to water them or put them in the wrong place on the windowsill, there will be nothing to collect the next day. The most difficult plants include areca palm, common fern, Vanda orchid, medinilla, calathea and stromanthe.

Very often they turn brown or do not want to grow at all. They have high demands that are difficult to meet. Temperature fluctuations or an inappropriate amount of water cause the flowers to wilt and are only suitable for the basket. Creating an optimal climate for these plants is a difficult task, because home conditions differ significantly from their natural surroundings.

Undemanding potted flowers. They will survive in any conditions

For comparison, there are plants that are very easy to grow and have low requirements. Nothing will happen if you forget to water them several times or accidentally put them in full sun. Flowers that are resistant to neglect include zamioculcas, sansevieria, crassula and aloe. Especially beginners should buy them. They will not be put off by cultivation and will enjoy beautiful green leaves. All you need is the right substrate and sparing watering for the plants to grow healthily. They don’t even need fertilization or complicated care treatments. Only overzealousness and excessive amounts of water can harm them.
