Malajkat and Zamachowski shared a room in a dormitory. “He said he would move out”

The friendship of Wojciech Malajkat and Zbigniew Zamachowski has been going on for almost 40 years, and although there have often been minor or major disagreements between the actors, they are still very close. Despite the differences in personalities, they always tried to reach an agreement, although, as Wojciech Malajkat admitted in one of the interviews, Zbigniew Zamachowski’s impulsive character took its toll on him.

Wojciech Malajkat and Zbigniew Zamachowski have been friends for over 40 years. The actors met while studying at the Łódź Film School, and during their studies they shared a room in a dormitory. There were differences between them, because despite mutual sympathy, they did not agree with each other on many issues.

In an interview with “Twój Styl”, Wojciech Malajkat admitted that Zbigniew Zamachowski has a rather explosive temperament. “I remember when my friend was giving up smoking. It was better not to get in his way. Everything pissed him off. Once he hit the wall with a well-placed punch. The glass in the bathroom door also didn’t survive,” he reported.

Whenever there was an argument between the actors, they always tried to clarify any ambiguities to clear the atmosphere between them. Sharing a room in a dormitory, they did not get along, for example when it came to cleaning: “We argued about the need to clean up because we couldn’t move anymore… I had to clean it myself. We used various arguments. ‘You German,’ shouted Lolo, despite that I am only a half-blooded German. Or: what do you know? You are from Mrągowo. I also have an argument from someone who comes from Brzeziny.

The differences in characters sometimes pushed the actors to the edge of endurance: “Zbyszek said he would move out, and I shouted: ‘Then move out!’ However, we knew that it would not happen because of a stupid argument,” Wojciech Malajat explained in an interview with “Twój “Style”.
