Sisfoh 2024: how do I know with my DNI if my household is classified as poor?

Sisfoh 2024: how do I know with my DNI if my household is classified as poor?

The Household Targeting System (Sisfoh) is an entity whose purpose is to fight poverty and provide support to those who find themselves in this condition. To do this, it offers a robust and detailed mechanism to identify and classify Peruvian households according to their socioeconomic level. With this system, it seeks to guarantee that social assistance reaches those who really need it, thus optimizing the allocation and use of state resources.

As part of its tools to carry out this work, Sisfoh has a General Household Register (PGH), which includes the registered families. If you have doubts about whether your home is classified as non-poor, poor or extremely poor, we provide you with that information in this note.

How can I verify the socioeconomic category of my household through the Sisfoh online platform?

To verify the socioeconomic category of your home, Sisfoh enables an accessible online platform. This process makes it easier for citizens to obtain their classification quickly and safely, without having to physically travel.

  • You must enter the official Sisfoh platform: https://operaciones.sisfoh.gob.pe:450/cse/
  • Enter your number ID
  • A series of questions will appear to validate your identity, ubigeo number and date of issue of the document
  • Press the ‘consult’ button and you will receive the socioeconomic classification of your home.

How can I verify the situation of my home in person?

1. Request your socioeconomic classification (CSE)

To request your CSE, you must go to the Local Registration Unit (ULE) of the municipality of your district. You will then be able to request your CSE and the S100 Application Form. Fill it out and present it along with the ID of the people who live in your home and the utility bills. This procedure can be carried out by any representative of your family as long as they are of legal age.

2. Wait for a visit from your municipality

The municipality will visit the households that have requested their CSE to collect the necessary data with the application of the Single Socioeconomic File, in order to send it to the Directorate of Targeting Operations to determine the socioeconomic classification of your home.

Keep in mind that not all homes require a visit; for example, those with newborns and who have CSE, families with children under 18 years of age and who have CSE, as well as residents of indigenous peoples of the Amazon (according to current regulations).

If you have already started the process, you can find out its status by contacting the Sisfoh user service platform at 01-631-8000 and annexes 1750, 1780, 1777, 1756, Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, or write to the email sisfoh@midis.gob.pe.

3. Result of your socioeconomic classification

The result of the socioeconomic classification request is obtained approximately after 25 business days from the date of subscription of the request, without considering Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

What documents and requirements do I need to update my socioeconomic classification in Sisfoh?

If you consider that your situation has changed and you wish to request a re-evaluation, Sisfoh allows you to update the socioeconomic classification. This procedure involves presenting updated documentation about your economic and family situation in the corresponding municipality, thus initiating a review process that starts from the Local Registration Unit (ULE), which collects data from households and coordinates its sending to Midis, thus guaranteeing an efficient and structured procedure.

To begin the procedure of obtaining your socioeconomic classificationit is necessary that you submit the documentation required in the ULE:

  1. The ID of all the members of your household
  2. An electricity and water bill, in case you have these services
  3. At the ULE you must request and fill out the S100 Application Form.
