TV Republika closely reported the course of the ABW operation throughout the day. A station reporter arrived at the house of the president of Sovereign Poland, and viewers could even watch drone footage. The presentation of the situation was not without numerous blunders and emotionally charged strips, which “informed” viewers throughout the day that, among others, “Tusk’s ‘Bodnarists’ are turning Poland into Belarus.”

However, what would a day on Republika TV be without a discussion with politicians? A moment after 8 p.m., the journalistic program “W Punkt” was broadcast, run by Katarzyna Gójska – privately the wife of the station’s star, Michał Rachoń. Shortly after the debate began, it was interrupted due to the sudden broadcast of Zbigniew Ziobro’s “press conference” from outside his home.
And it was at this moment that “the Republic’s stripers got into trouble,” as the creators of the Facebook fanpage put it, “Bareja wouldn’t have come up with this.” A strip appeared on TV screens reading: “Tusk will sit in the same cell with Bodnar.” However, after a while of momentum, there came a period of stagnation as the same sentence was shown continuously for almost the next hour.
