However, it turns out that we will soon be able to follow the adventures of the employees of the titular hospital again.
The American portal reports that a sequel to the popular production will be made. The continuation of the popular series is to be subtitled “Tomorrow”, and will be created by the creator of the original, David Schulner. The action of the series will take place 30 years later, and the main character will be Luna, the daughter of Dr. Goodwin. A large part of the plot will be devoted to artificial intelligence and its impact on human treatment.

Interestingly, the doctor’s adult daughter was an important character in the fifth season of “New Amsterdam Hospital”. The young woman decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and even became the director of the same facility. The unexpected ending of the original after five seasons was a surprise to many. “New Amsterdam Hospital” was popular and even received a “quality label” from the World Health Organization. The creators of the series supposedly had an idea for a sixth series, but the heads of NBC wanted to end the series.
