An investigation by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office found that “the child was left alone and unattended for approximately 10 days and then died.” The rescue services present at the scene confirmed the girl’s death. The service said Jailyn was found in a baby cot filled with “dirty blankets” and with a “pad soaked in urine and feces.”
