Tomasz Mildyn worked for years as a TVN24 reporter in Poland and abroad. He reported on, among others, the world championships in Qatar, events in Crimea and what was happening in Egypt in connection with the death of Magdalena Żuk. He started working at the Wrocław branch of TVN in June 2007, which means that 17 years would soon have passed since then.

At the beginning of March, Wirtualne Media published the content of the farewell e-mail that Tomasz Mildyn was supposed to send to his colleagues. He thanked them for many years of cooperation and space for development. “Dear friends! What an adventure it was. I started here as a young bachelor, and I leave as a gray-haired and bearded husband and father of three children. TVN gave me many colleagues, several friends, and even a wife. So, as you can guess, I always I will have sentimental feelings for you and the Station. It turns out that I spent 17 years with you… ” – we read in the content of the e-mail published on the Wirtualnemedia.pl website.
On Monday, March 11, the website unofficially announced that Tomasz Mildyn was to start working at TVP1. The reporter will prepare materials for the main news service of TV Channel One, i.e. “7:30”. Mateusz Szczerba was also said to have decided to transfer to Telewizja Polska, who said that in his new position he would work on creating a system for the creative use of EVS (a machine for quick editing of audiovisual materials). Over the last few weeks, other TVN journalists have also joined the TVP team, including Paweł Płuska and Joanna Dunikowska-Paź.
