There are already as many theories about the photo of the Princess of Wales as there are Photoshop retouches on that image. The latest conspiracy about Kate Middleton’s controversial image is the one fueled by Allyn Aston, a famous content creator on TikTok.
In a video published on this network he assures that the original photo was taken several months ago. After an act of solidarity between the princess and her children last November. In the video that the princes distributed, and which can be seen in the main ‘play’ of this news, it is observed that the clothes they were wearing at the event are very similar to the ones they are wearing in the viral photo. These are the differences that the TikToker lists:
- Kate Middleton seems to be wearing the same sweater. The only thing that changes is the color.
- The collar of the sweater Charlotte is wearing is the sameexcept that in the last photo the girl is wearing another sweater over top which, according to this theory, would be the work of editing.
- We also find another key if we look Little Louis’s shirt collar. It seems to be the same one she wore at that event, but with a sweater over it.
This viral theory maintains that Kate and her daughter’s footwear is also the same as in the video, released at the time by the Palace. But experts point out: as was the case with the Vogue cover theory, that level of editing does not fit with so many major errors. According to laSexta’s infographic designer, Ana Azpilicueta, “There is a lot of work behind this edition to leave such visible flaws.”
Conspiracies aside, the British press claims that the photo was taken by Prince William on Friday, just 40 minutes before it went through Photoshop. The Prince of Wales would have used a camera valued at more than 3,000 euros for this purpose.
