was brought to life by siblings, Katarzyna and Jacek Sienkiewicz, and debuted on stage in November 2017. Today, the band has released four studio albums, of which the first and second albums have gone double platinum, while the next two have achieved gold status, as well as a dozen or so great hits that are constantly conquering the charts. The most popular ones include: “I’ll go to bed late tonight” or “It could have been nothing.”
Kasia and Jacek from the band Kwiat Jabłoni are siblings. Their father is a legendary musician
From the beginning of their careers, the artists avoided the limelight and were reluctant to talk about their private lives in interviews, focusing almost exclusively on their musical activities. For this reason, few knew that they came from an artistic family. Their father is the leader of Elektryczne Gitary, Kuba Sienkiewicz, co-creator of such timeless hits as “Children ran out”, “I’m from the city” and “What are you doing here”.
In an interview, the siblings admitted that they deliberately concealed this fact from the media because they were afraid that they would not be perceived through the prism of their own achievements, but only as “children of a famous musician”. – We were afraid that a well-known name would harm us. We didn’t think we should share this information, so we didn’t. Long after the release of the first album, practically no one knew that our father was also involved in music, she said, adding that they never used their father’s knowledge to promote their songs or gain appropriate contacts. – Dad never helped us reach listeners, radio stations or television – she added, emphasizing that they had earned their success on their own.
They grew up on the music of Electric Guitars. Today they create a completely different sound
It turns out that their love for the stage arose in their childhood and it was then that they began to dream of creating their own stage in the future. Electric Guitar rehearsals were often held in their family home, so their passion for music developed naturally. – The fact that our dad played in the band was something completely natural for me as a child. Observing his work, I quickly formed a vision of myself as a person who would not want to do something repetitive in the future – 30-year-old Kasia Sienkiewicz in an interview for “Gala” magazine.
Although their father’s opinion is extremely important to the creators of Kwiat Jabłoni, because it was he who instilled this passion in them, they unanimously admit that they do not try to follow in his footsteps and try to create a completely different genre of music. – He doesn’t seem to give us any clues. He listens to the finished material and then says whether he likes it – said Jacek Sienkiewicz in “Viva”, adding that he usually takes his father’s advice on technical matters. – Dad helps us a lot from the technical side. He advised us on what contracts we should sign and which ones we should avoid. Recently, he and Kasia bought a microphone that he uses on stage, said the artist. He also emphasized that despite the support they receive from their father, they try to distance themselves from him professionally. – He is a great support for us, but musically we are a separate entity – said the 30-year-old.
