There is a crisis of faith in Catholic churches. Although many people apostatize, there are still those who are faithful to God. In a sincere letter to the editor, one of our readers revealed that when she went to church in Warsaw, she was very surprised. As she recalls, it looks completely different than in her countryside.

“I recently moved to Warsaw because I found a well-paid job. I rented an apartment and started a new phase. At first, I felt good here. I found great owners who showed me the area and took care of me. After a month of living in the capital, I felt like a fish. in the water, but when I went to a nearby church, the spell was broken.
“When the dog made a sound, she hushed him and told him to sit down. I can’t understand it.”
The church I went to looked like any other and at first nothing aroused any emotions in me. There were a lot of people, but I expected that because it is a popular place due to its good location. Mass hadn’t started yet, so I started looking around a bit. The church had beautiful decorations and was full of stained glass. At one point I noticed that one of the women was standing to the side with a dog on a leash. I thought it must be some kind of joke and she probably just came in here for a while. To my surprise, the woman was there the entire mass, and when the dog made a sound, she hushed him and told him to sit down. I can’t wrap my head around it. Not to mention how people freely took out their phones during mass and replied to text messages. One of the men standing next to me scrolled through Instagram during the sermon. I was in shock. His partner answered the phone and said she couldn’t talk because she was at church. In fact, she didn’t even turn off her voice. What a massacre. I came back devastated. It’s different in my countryside. People have more respect both for themselves and for God.”
