The Ad Hoc Commission of the defunct Fund National Housing Authority (Fonavi) will meet on Thursday, February 22 to coordinate a new delivery of money in March in favor of former contributors. As indicated to La República, Luis Luzuriaga, president of this working group, there are certain criteria with which they have not yet agreed, but they will be evaluated in the next session.
While this issue is discussed in the coming days, the process of partial refund to the Fonavistas continues for the 71,000 older adults who did not receive payment despite being on the 19 lists and for list 20, made up of 64,272 people. Below, find out who can still collect their contributions and what requirements they must meet to access your money.
Fonavi 2024: who can collect the refund of contributions?
In December of last year, payments for the refund of contributions to the thousands of people who contributed to the defunct National Housing Fund (Fonavi) were reactivated. Although the beneficiaries of payment group 20 began to receive part of their money according to the official schedule, those who were on the 19 lists and did not receive payment had not been considered.
Faced with this situation, the ad hoc Commission ordered that these former affiliates or their representative, duly identified and authorized, can collect their money from February 1. The Republic presents you with a compilation of the Fonavistas who can still access the return of their contributions at the Banco de la Nación:
- Payment group 1 to 19: Currently, Fonavistas on these lists who did not go to collect their money between 2015 and 2019 can access payment at the Banco de la Nación agencies.
- Payment group 20: It is made up of Fonavistas who did not earn a single sol before.

In statements to La República, Luis Luzuriaga, president of the ad hoc commission that represents the National Federation of Fonavistas and Pensioners Association of Peru, indicated that a new refund of contributions is being prepared that would be in force from March 15. “With the delays seen in list 20 and the cutback in deliveries, the PCM wants to review the entire process and lengthen it. We are going to settle the situation. We Fonavistas want it to be in March. March 15. We do not accept another date. It has to start the return once and for all,” he said.
