The finale of the 5th edition of “The Voice Senior”, a musical talent show on TVP2, is fast approaching. The jury of the program includes Maryla Rodowicz, Alicja Wêgorzewska, Tomasz Szczepanik and Halina Frąckowiak, who replaced Piotr Cugowski.

Sixteen participants, previously selected at the Knockout stage, competed in the semi-final episodes. Ultimately, only eight seniors made it to the finals, two from each juror’s team. Róża Frąckiewicz and Regina Rosłaniec-Bavcevic, Halina Frąckowiak’s students, Lucyna Mazur and Roman Wojciechowski from Maryla Rodowicz’s team, Piotr Salata and Wojciech Kwiatkowski from Tomasz Szczepanik’s team, and Tadeusz Talarek and Małgorzata Kraszkiewicz from Alicja Węgorzewska’s team will fight for the title of the Best Voice in Poland .
It was the decision of the last juror that aroused the most emotions among Internet users. In the semi-final episode, Węgorzewska rejected 86-year-old Waleria Molenda, whose performance delighted the viewers of “The Voice Senior”. “I was disappointed with Ms. Alicja’s choice. Waleria deserved to be in the final”, “I do not agree with the coach’s verdict. Ms. Waleria should remain in the program together with Mr. Tadeusz”, “I feel sorry for Ms. Waleria. The winner of the 5th edition of “The Voice Senior” will be awarded PLN 50,000 and the title of Best Voice in Poland.
