In September, Danny Masterson was sentenced. Actor known from “That ’70s Show.” and the series “The Ranch” was sentenced to 30 years in prison for raping two women. The star did not admit his guilt until the end.

“I knew he should be put behind bars for the safety of all the women he came into contact with. I am very sorry and very upset. I wish I had reported him to the police earlier,” said one of the victims, who also emphasized that the man he has never shown any signs of remorse for his actions.

Both rapes occurred at Masterson’s home in the Hollywood area in 2003. At that time, the actor was at the peak of popularity thanks to his role as Steven Hyde in “That ’70s Show”. The star was also facing a third charge of another rape, but no verdict was reached in this case.

As the New York Post reported, Masterson was transferred to a maximum security prison on January 29. It is at Corcoran State Penitentiary in California that the actor will most likely serve most of his sentence.

In the week before the transfer, a judge rejected the star’s application for bail. He justified his decision with the risk of escape. According to the case files, Masterson will be eligible for parole in July 2042, when he will be 66 years old.

The latest reports indicate that the actor has been placed under 24-hour observation in case he shows signs of “mental distress”. This means that the star is monitored and checked in his cell by guards every 30 minutes.
