For a long part of my life, I tried very hard to keep up with boys. I dressed and acted like them. I wanted to be one of them. […] Then came the time of ‘pursuit of femininity’ and I think I got a little lost on this path. It seemed to me that the bolder the clothes and the stronger makeup, the better.
Wojciechowska admitted in a reflective entry that she also made many mistakes when trying to capture the balance between femininity and masculinity. In the end, however, she found the golden mean – that clothes are just accessories that do not define a person in any way.
It’s just a bonus. Have fun with it, have fun with it and don’t put yourself into a rigid framework. It took me a dozen or so years. I recommend not imitating me.
