16 candidates for victory will face each other this week at the long-awaited Benidorm Fest, which is held at El Palau d’Esports l’Illa, to be the next representative of Spain in Eurovision 2024 and proposals will be witnessed ranging from reggaeton to “dance” or bolero.
Already consolidated names of national music such as those of Maria Peláe either Miss Caffeina will aspire to the triumph of the third edition of Benidorm Fest along with other more anonymous ones such as Sofía Coll, Almácor or St. Pedro who, as already happened with Chanel, Rigoberta Bandini or Vicco in the previous years, they could undertake their dazzling rise to fame here no matter what.
The two previous semi-finals that will take place this Tuesday, January 30, and Thursday, February 1, of which the half that receive the least combined support from televoting, from a jury made up of eight professionals with Beatriz Luengo at the head and from the always questioned and anonymous demoscopic jury (a representation of Spanish society chosen by criteria of gender, origin and age).
