Gary Graham initially associated his future with medicine, but in 1976 he got his first role, recognized by viewers and critics, in the western series “The Quest” with Kurt Russell. The role brought him popularity and opened the door to popular productions. Soon the actor could be seen in “Starsky and Hutch”, the late 1970s series “The Incredible Hulk” and “The Dukes of Hazzard”.

However, the actor appeared in the above-mentioned productions only for a moment. His first regular role in the series was in 1988. Then Graham joined the cast of the science fiction series “Alien Nation”. The actor was cast as detective Matthew Sikes. The series lasted only one season, but it was followed by many continuations in later years.

The creators noticed Graham’s potential that could be further exploited in sci-fi cinema. Graham soon played Ambassador Soval in 12 episodes of “Star Trek: Enterprise,” a prequel to the original series. This wasn’t Graham’s first experience with the universe. He previously played Tanis from the Ocampa species in an episode of “Star Trek: Voyager.”
