‘Oppenheimer’, Christopher Nolan’s film focused on the figure of the creator of the atomic bomb, is the big favorite at the 96th edition of the Oscars with 13 nominations. They are followed by ‘Poor Creatures’, with 11 nominations, ‘The Moon Killers’, with 10 nominations, and ‘Barbie’, which is up for 8 awards.

They have been the actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaidaccompanied by the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Janet Yang, those in charge of announcing the nominations for the most precious awards in the film industry. The prizes will be awarded at Dolby Theater in Los Angeles the next March 10thearly Sunday to Monday in Euskal Herria, in a gala that for the fourth time will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

-Best leading actress: Lily Gladstone for ‘The Moon Killers’, Emma Stone for ‘Poor Creatures’, Annette Bening for ‘Nyad’, Sandra Hüller for ‘Anatomy of a Fall’ and Carey Mulligan for ‘Master’.

-Best leading actor: Cillian Murphy for ‘Oppenheimer’, Jeffrey Wright for ‘American Fiction’, Paul Giamatti for ‘Those Who Remain’, Colman Domingo for ‘Rustin’ and Bradley Cooper for ‘Maestro’.

-Best Supporting Actress: Emily Blunt (‘Oppenheimer’), Danielle Brooks (‘The Color Purple’), América Ferrera (‘Barbie’), Jodie Foster (‘Nyad’) and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (‘Those Who Stay’).

-Best Supporting Actor: Sterling K. Brown (‘American Fiction’), Robert De Niro (‘The Moon Killers’), Robert Downey Jr. (‘Oppenheimer’), Ryan Gosling (‘Barbie’) and Mark Ruffalo (‘Poor Things’) .

-Best international film: ‘The Snow Society’, by José Antonio Bayona, the Japanese ‘Perfect Days’, by Win Wenders; the co-production between the United States, the United Kingdom and Poland ‘The Zone of Interest’, by Jonathan Glazer; the Italian ‘I Captain’, by Matteo Garrone; and the German ‘Teachers’ Room’, by Ilker Çatak.

-Best makeup and hair: ‘The Snow Society’, ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Maestro’, ‘Golda’ and ‘Poor Creatures’.
