Kramer performed in Australia with the Bodenwieser Ballet for the following years. After the war, the group also undertook an international tour to France, New Zealand, South Africa and India. After leaving the band in 1953, she went to India and then lived and worked in Paris as a model.
In 1957, she met Israeli-American filmmaker Baruch Shadmi. In the mid-1960s, Shadmi suffered a stroke and Kramer effectively put her dancing career on hold for 18 yearstaking care of him in New York.
