During the last Emmy gala, the actor was asked directly whether another spin-off of “Breaking Bad” was possible, this time dedicated to this character. Not only did Esposito not deny it, but he also revealed that he already had a few ideas. It would concern the fate of Fring before he gained great influence in the drug world. The actor even has an idea for a title – “The Rise of Gus” would be a prequel to the great hit.

“I think there should and could be a spin-off focusing on Fring eventually,” Esposito said. “I have a lot of assumptions that I like to push.
