“Can I say I’m 53?”: Lucero reacted in a rare way to criticism on social networks for the appearance of the photo

On January 12, the second season of the series “Golden rooster”, starring Lucero, one of the most beloved actresses on Mexican television.

Thus, the 54-year-old actress does not hide her happiness for this project, which brought her back to acting after a few years of hiatus.

Her acting talent and in the world of music from an early age led her to the title of “America’s Bride”; But that doesn’t save her from criticism on social media, especially because of the look she’s wearing today.

Although it is true that Lucero is one of the emblematic faces of Mexican television, the years pass mercilessly and are clearly reflected in the features of her face that she proudly displays.

That is why there is no shortage of those who criticize how the remembered protagonist of soap operas like “Lazos de amor” or “Soy tu dueña” looks.

And although Lucero ignores malicious comments most of the time, not for a moment did the interpreter Bernarde Cutiño in “El gallo de oro” remain silent in the face of criticism.

Lucero did not remain indifferent to the comment that threw her out of her seat and she quickly replied “polite”.

“Can I say I’m 53 years old? I hope so because those are the ones I have. Wrinkles are inevitable. Stains and sagging come with age. I don’t know how old you are, but I want you to always look 17, even if you’re 60 or older. May you never have wrinkles, or anything that doesn’t look good on you, and always be beautiful,” was Lucero’s violent response, which quickly went viral, given that the artist normally does not pay attention to such messages.

Lucero has always been in favor of showing off her skin and face naturally, which she has shown on her Instagram account where she posts pictures without any makeup and outdoors.

“I prefer to look natural. And I always say it, I have wrinkles, it’s normal,” he commented in an interview broadcast by Univisión, in which he also made it clear that he does not support the use of Botox.

“I don’t think there’s a single person in their 50s who doesn’t have wrinkles unless it’s from excess Botox, but that doesn’t look pretty either, for my personal taste.” (AND)
