When Kirsty Bortoft’s partner took her to hospital after finding her unconscious on a sofa at her home, doctors said she had only a six per cent chance of survival.

Everything was dramatic and disturbing. The woman was so serious that she was left for dead for forty minutes. The doctors fought desperately all this time to bring her back to life, The Sun published.

“She was sitting on the couch, eyes open and ‘lifeless’. This is how, they describe, Kirsty, a 49-year-old British woman, was located.

That day, the woman, a mother of three, planned to spend a night with Stu. They had planned to have dinner together.

Kirsty’s dad had offered to cook pizza for his three grandchildren so the couple could have some time to themselves. It was January 29, 2021.

What happened to Kirsty

Stu found her unconscious. He added that he had “strange hexagonal patterns” in different parts of his body, El Tiempo reported.

The man tried to revive her and she is the one who now narrates those eternal minutes: “He put me on the ground and started CPR while he was on the phone with the emergency services.

After hooking me up to several machines, the lifeguard used a defibrillator to get my weak heartbeat back into rhythm. Unfortunately, after I stabilized, the same thing happened again and my heart was beating so fast that it would have eventually stopped and given up,” he told The Sun.

The doctors continued CPR until they got his heart beating again.

The universal

At the hospital in Britain, Stu and other relatives of the woman were asked to prepare for the worst.

Kirsty Bortoft had suffered cardiac arrest and doctors put her in an induced coma to save her life, El Tiempo explained.

Something magical happened, Kisrty says

The next day, her partner wanted to see her and insisted on talking to her via video call.

The man told him that they would get married when he recovered.

Understandably unconscious, Kirsty claims something ‘magical’ happened and she was soon ‘brought back to life’.

Despite being unconscious, Kirsty said she knew exactly everything that was happening around her.

Time

He told The Sun that while he was unconscious, a friend of his, who was psychic, contacted his sister to find out what was going on.

Until then, Colombian media clarified, “only the immediate family (husband, parents and children) knew that Bortoft was fighting for his life in a medical center.”

That friend “said that my ghost was in her living room and that I asked her to write lists for my children and my father. My sister told him I was in the hospital fighting for my life and apparently I was there for over two hours.

“I told (my girlfriend) that my body was giving out and I didn’t think I could do it again, but she got strict with me and told me to come back,” she described, to everyone’s surprise.

The ‘return’ to life took place: ‘When I finally returned to my body, I knew exactly what I had to do to heal, like a download of information. I realized that you don’t die, only your body continues and that my mission here was not over yet,” said the woman who challenged and conquered that 6% survival rate.

While in a coma, “Stu contacted meditation groups and spoke to friends who, Kirsty says, started a wave of healing work.”

People from all over the world logged in to pray and meditate, I even had a Reiki master who worked for hours and supported me in my return to my body.

In the hospital, “I meditated every day and imagined a white and gold light flowing through the cells of my body (…) I knew what I was doing.”

“I accelerated the inevitable and healed faster, on day ten I had an x-ray of my lungs and the radiographer was speechless: the scars and water were virtually gone.

“I told him he had healed my lungs,” he said.

She and her husband, El Tiempo reported, “insist that a series of ‘unknown factors’ helped her survive.”

Kirsty says after an amazing experience she was given a ‘second chance at life’. He has investigated cases similar to his and points out: “There is only one other like mine where the person survived hardly any trouble.” (JO)
