25-year-old Adrian Borecki started cooperation with Telewizja Polska in 2018. In recent months, he was one of the reporters of “Wiadomości” TVP, where he became famous for many controversial materials. It last appeared on public media on December 21, 2023, when the new authorities of Telewizja Polska had already started changes in this institution. Borecki entered the “Agrobiznes” studio after 12:00, interrupting the program to continue the broadcast from the Television Information Agency, which is still occupied by its former employees, such as Michał Adamczyk.
His “special edition” of “Wiadomości”, which was supposed to “broadcast until the very end”, was quickly interrupted and viewers could watch a looped TVP1 ident. In this symbolic way, the era of public media in Poland politicized by PiS ended. However, Borecki himself does not recognize the new authorities and announced his “departure” from TVP only last week.

It turns out that he did it because he already got a new job. However, this is not the only major recent transfer from the former TVP to TV Republika. Michał Rachoń was the first to change his employer. Later, Danuta Holecka, who in recent years was the head of TVP’s “Wiadomości”, joined the team of Tomasz Sakiewicz’s station. On Tuesday, Miłosz Kłeczek made his debut on the air, and now Adrian Borecki has joined them.
