Monstera is one of the most popular plants grown in pots. This one is a vine that, under favorable conditions, can reach a height of two meters. In fact, this name covers several dozen species that come from rainforests located in Central America. The characteristic feature of this most popular one, known as Monstera perforatum, are large and, as the name suggests, perforated leaves with an intense, dark green color.

High air humidity also has a positive effect on it, so in winter you need to be especially careful not to place it near radiators, stoves or other heat sources. It also does not like drafts, so it is not worth placing it in a window that is frequently opened. Although it can actually grow in any soil, it will develop best in peat soil with high permeability.
