Changes in public media are progressing slowly but steadily with each passing day. This also applies to entertainment programs such as “Pytanie na śniadanie”, where long-unseen guests appeared and the topics discussed changed. So far, the changes have not affected some presenters. One of them is Tomasz Kammel, who published a telling recording on Instagram. Some believe that he addressed them to former colleagues.

Tomasz Kammel is a 52-year-old presenter and journalist who began his adventure with the media while still a student. However, the world of television opened up to him only in 1997, and since then he has been one of the faces of Telewizja Polska.

Over the years, viewers have been able to watch it in various programs and formats. In addition to the above-mentioned “Question for Breakfast”, Kammel also hosted “Coffee or Tea”, “Blind Date”, “Teleexpress”, “The Voice of Poland” and live broadcasts, such as New Year’s Eve concerts.

In addition to working on television, the presenter also founded his own YouTube channel ten years ago, where he conducts various interviews and shares his knowledge of public speaking. He managed to collect 186,000 there. subscribers, but he has not published new materials there for over a year and a half.

It’s a different story on social media, where Kammel is still very active. His Instagram profile is followed by 305,000 people. people, and the presenter himself presents himself there as an “interpersonal communication expert”. There he provides both lifestyle materials and behind-the-scenes recordings of “Questions for Breakfast”.

Recently, however, he decided to upload a video in which he gives tips on job interviews. He referred, among others, to: to the question “why did you leave your previous job” that recruiters often ask.

Above all, be truthful, but at the same time do not refer to your previous employer. Don’t say, for example: “I didn’t like my boss” or “Because it was boring” or “I wanted more money”. (…) Instead, you need to speak professionally, i.e. talk about yourself – advises Tomasz Kammel.

Next, he decided to give specific examples. – “I am looking for better career prospects and professional development opportunities”, i.e. development. “It didn’t align with my long-term career goals,” i.e. goals. And there may also be challenges, i.e. the comment: “I am looking for new challenges at work, those consistent with my strengths.” Well, we’ve got it! – continues the presenter.

Tomasz Kammel still works at TVP. The changes don’t impress him

Despite the fact that this video is not something that does not match the recordings previously published by Kammel, many people point out that he decided to create it at a time when Telewizja Polska is going through huge changes and many employees have lost their jobs. The journalist himself commented a bit on this subject in December 2023:

Whatever changes, there is peace. […] And we all do our part. There is a task to be done, there is record-breaking viewership and it is so motivating that one does not want to concentrate on anything else
